Welcome to Sharp Digital Preservation!
Sharp Digital Preservation evolved from efforts to rescue and share my own family legacy. I’m so passionate about it, I want to help others. It’s that simple.
As the keeper of my family’s albums, slides, and video tapes, I have been learning how to preserve these precious, yet disintegrating and dusty, memories. Digital nostalgia, if you will.
They say a picture is worth 1000 words. I’ve built a career in the field of communication; public affairs, event planning, customer service. It’s a natural segue. I have the equipment, the skills, the patience, an artistic flair, and it’s the right time in my life.
I use the term “us” because behind “me”, is the family that nurtured my soul, captured our life and times, thereby cultivating a passion for nostalgia and keeping family momentos alive for generations.
I thank my grandfather, for sitting at the dining room table for weeks, carefully building his family photo legacy; my mother, for hauling around the huge video camera like a pro, only occasionally forgetting to take the lens cap of; and my adult children, for their patience, as I ask them a million questions about digital technology.
